Thats why I posted its a 03 cut down, if you look at the pictures the blood groove goes to the end of the blade.It could have been used on an M1. I think it's a model 1905, originally made for the Model 1903 rifle. It was made by Union Fork and Hoe (UFH). Some of these were cut down to 10" and used for the M1 in WWII.
