I've been lurking on here for a couple of months now. I've decided it's high time that I got involved! The first of the year marked an important time in my life, I decided that it was time to put my own protection and the protection of my family squarely into my own hands so, I bought a gun and applied for an LTCH. Well, long story short, I'm still waiting for my LTCH due to the craziness that has ensued due to the shooting in December and the governmental action because of it. I should've bought one a few years ago but our children were a little young and I was a little leery about having a loaded gun in the house, even if it was in a safe. Recent events have opened my eyes to the need to have a gun. My older brothers are ecstatic as is my husband.
I hope to meet many new friends on this site and glean more information about owning and carrying a handgun.
