My suggestion is to eat heavily and put some meat on that scrawny ass LOL just kidding i know what You are talking about
Im 6 ft 280 and I have trouble finding the right combo also
I carry a J frame S&W a lot just because of that OUCH factor in a Don Hume IWB sometimes a Kimber ultra carry 45 acp in a Don Hume IWB
Just keep trying diff setups and holsters and CLOTHING a lot depends on HOW you are dressed and what You are wearing
in the summer months I wear a t-shirt tucked with a bigger than normal size shirt untucked to cover up
good luck

Are you mating that holster to a thick and wide belt, tight on your waist? A flimsy belt will allow the hoster to move around and make it very uncomfortable. If you haven't carried much, it can take a while before your body becomes accustomed to the gear on you, but really a thick, wide gunbelt is essential for comfort. As wide as your belt loops will allow. 1 3/4 if possible.

Same here. Definitely make sure you have a good gun belt. I've been trying out a Minotaur IWB from Comp-Tac for the last week or so and it's been working out pretty well.

I recently purchased a Threat Solutions UCR holster for my .40 Sig 229 . It's made entirely of Kydex. Their site is down presently so i couldn't provide a link. Their claim, and since receiving mine, is being the thinest and most comfortable.

Threat Solutions site is still down. I got these pictures and discrition from Custom Glock Racing's site.

The UCR Holster was designed by a professional concealed carry instructor and personal protection specialist who couldn't get any current manufacturer to produce what he wanted. After 4 years of trying he finally just did it himself. The new UCR is is designed to be the last holster you'll ever need. These holsters aren't the cheapest, most common or mass produced, but the simply are the best for actually carrying a gun.

Trying different positions with the same holster/pistol combo might also work to find a comfortable spot.

I know on my High Noon Holster Split Decision IWB, that I cannot carry right on my hip bone. I must carry about 4:00-4:30 to be comfortable.

To help with the uncomfortable holster-against-skin feeling, I suggest that you wear an undershirt. Solved my problem immediately.

If you're going to wear a cover garment for concealment, then know that the garment needs to be big enough. It could be that your printing issue is due to wearing too-small clothes for the job.

I recommend Raven Concealment products. They have holsters to fit most popular pistols and will custom mold to your weapon at the Indy 1500. Their basic holster comes with OWB belt loops but they offer IWB and IWB Tuckable loops as options. I carry a Hi-Power every day in the IWB tuckable. Much more comfortable than the Hume and Bianchi products I tried before. I have the opposite body type, belly done lap over the belt, yet the Raven is very comfortable. The belt loops are adjustable for height of carry to custom fit to your style.
