so picked up a smith and wesson 500mag 8 3/8 barrel , my sweet girl weighs a ton but you appreciate that when it comes to recoil , below the 500mag is my judge , inbetween the 2 is a 45LC shell and 500mag just for comparison , .......... any other 500mag lovers out there ?

Awesome, I love mine I have the 6 1/2 incher. I have a thing for "big bore" or "hand cannons". Recently picked up a Desert Eagle .50 in Chrome. Next on the list is the S&W 460 and then the judge.

gorgeous collection, gotta say a little jealous on the Desert Eagle (its on the list down the line) , i have a passion for "hand cannons" or "big bores" as well , its a sickness ............ next on mine however is probably the 480 ruger (as far as big bores go) had a super redhawk and got rid of it , regretted it since ........

i personally am just starting to , i think getting into the big bores requires it unless you dont shoot much

My raging bull .44mag is plenty of gun for me, I dont think I'll ever buy a larger handgun. I've always wanted to shoot a .50AE or 500S&W tho, however I have small hands.
