Anybody ever used a Leupold DeltaPoint reflex sight on a pistol?

    - or -

Anybody ever used a reflex style sight on a pistol?

I'm looking specifically for some viewpoints, positive or negative, on the Leupold product or generic observations of pros, cons and things to consider with this style of sight.

    Thanks guys,

I had a Burris Fastfire II on a FN FiveseveN. Worked fine when I got it dialed in. If I were super-impressed with the red dot concept on a pistol, I'd have made it a point to keep the Burris (which worked well) or get another red dot on one of my other pistols.

Faster target acquisition because you are not trying to align 3 things (target, front sight, rear sight).

I would venture to say that most folks, including me, will say that a good set of aftermarket/night sights will never treat you wrong. No batteries to wear out and no messing around with having to find accessories to accommodate your red dot equipped firearm.

Agree in general on the night sight perspective. This is for a Buck Mark and will be a range fun piece only hence the reason I'm thinking of going with a reflex sight.
