Decided I should keep my Mauser so I want to figure out what the markings mean. I googled Mauser markings books and brought up several but does anyone recommend one they have used? One with pictures of markings maybe? :) Thanks for any info!

When I was looking for info on my 1914 I emailed the author of History Writ in Steel and he replied back pretty quick. Turns out mine is marked to the Saxon State Police at Leipzig (Sächsiche Polizei Leipzig)
