I was wondering how you would mount a sling on a 1022 polymer stock? Since its hollow couldn't the sling pull out or crack the polymer when its under stress?
I already have the front sling mount taken care of by use of a tactical barrel band.
Reasoning behind this is I want to do appleseed with my 1022 takedown.

You need to use a sling stud with a coarse thred, much like a wood screw, not a machine screw which is much finer. Drill the hole the same size as the root diameter of the screw. I did the same to Remmy 597. I bought the studs at Dunhams.
