Ok I stumbled upon a real treat when moving my uncles stuff. Found about 4000 rounds of sw40 rounds and now I need a new toy. I have only ever owned 1911's and a couple 357 revolvers. I have shot the sw sigma 40ve and really liked it but didn't care for the first trigger pull kinda funny. Anywho I was wondering what yall recomended

I have to give the thumbs up to a M&P Pro or standard model, next choice would be the XDM 5.25, then the Para 16-40 limited, then the EAA Witness Match or Gold match

I can arrange for you to shoot the first three on the list if you wish to come to a Thursday match at HHRP and maybe the EAA Gold

    4K GIFT of S&W .40???

    You are a Lucky Dog!!

    Everyone has an opinion...

For the price/and what you get, to ME it's hard to beat a G-22.

Those Model Glocks (Gen. I,II,or III) are one of the most available on the used market, and usually for a good price ($400.00 and under).

The majority of those are LEO trade-ins that have been carried lots+shot little...I just happen to have one on my belt NOW!! HA HA...Bill.

What kind of ammo? Not reloaded/new in box? Just making sure its not reloads or lead bullets, as that would influence my recommendation on gun.

Did he say you could just have the ammo?

    I don't have any cool relatives. :(

Glock 35/22/23, S&W M&P, Ruger SR40, SIG Sauer SP2022 or Springfield XDM would all be good choices, depending on what features you want and how much you're able to spend.
