    Hi all,

My father-in-law would like a new stock for his Remington XP-100.

He's tried Natches & Brownel's to no avail.

So, where can a body find one? Any ideas??

    Thanks,

    -J-

    Fireball,

Thanks for the input. I kind of figured that you'd chime in on this thread, actually.

Must be a "fireball" connection. HAH!

    Sorry, I digress.

I am not sure what kind of stock is on his pistol currently. All I know is that it's an XP-100 in .221 Fireball.

There is, most certainly, a Fireball connection.

If it is a factory 221 Fireball, it must be a straight XP100.

What is he wanting, center grip, rear grip, wood(straight or laminate), synthetic?

    Fireball,

He's just told me that "he needs a new stock"

I didn't know that they were modular? I thought that the original stocks were all wooden and 1 piece? I presume that he wants another wooden one, but not sure.

I'm just trying to gather information for him and let HIM spend the big $$ (good Lord, they're expensive!)

He told me the other day, via phone, that he "got to looking at it and he noticed that the stock was loose" and he wanted me to work my Internet Search Magic and see if I couldn't find him a replacement for it.

He's not unfamiliar with firearms, so I hope it's just not a bolt that needs tightened? He's more familiar with buying firearms and plinking with them than "knowing firearms".

I don't know when I'll be back up there to take a look at the thing myself to see if, by some miracle, there is just something that needs tightened up.
