New/First 1911 (And first .45!)

I finally picker her up today...a Taurus PT1911AR, and I cannot wait to go shoot it! (Unfortunately I work 3rds, and was told this morning as I was leaving that we are scheduled to work all weekend )
Looks like I won't be getting range time until early next week :/

Anyways, here it is (with a BCA Compensator)...my Pearce grip inserts should be here early next week...

I love the way it feels, and looks...now I just gotta see how it shoots!

The color of the compensator matches pretty good with the rest of it...but I'm pretty sure the frame and compensator will be done up in matte OD Green Cerakote

$649 plus tax...ordered the comp. off ebay...I think it was $42 or something like that...

I've got one and I love it, unless I am trying to cycle JHP through it. Cycles FMJ flawlessly, but the JHP FTF every 3-4 rounds. Good Luck Good lookin 1911! Enjoy
