New in Central/Northeastern IN

Sent in my application last week...now to wait....and wait...and wait...it seems.

Started researching a way to carry last fall...after yet another creeper on a bike started following me. Kept me running on the road, rather than going on my trail, and I decided that was not going to keep happening.

(Also because dogs that decide to attach do not appear to be fazed by pepper spray!)

So - I had a friend take me to the range, let me try several different types of handguns, and went to choose mine. I very much like it and can't wait to go again. I enjoyed the range, and am looking forward to feeling safe enough to run wherever I want...in the meantime, I will be learning to take apart and put together, load and unload, and researching. I will also go back to the range with him several more times to practice.

And...spend the next few months trying to find a good way to carry. Main goal is to carry while I'm running...comfortably and within easy reach.

Basically...to summarize myself...engineer, mother to 4, long distance runner.

Honestly I don't know most of these acronyms myself. You get to know them by seeing them used in a sentence... Actually, Just search them out if you want on the top right hand side. Otherwise! 2 .
