I couldn't pass up a Kahr E9 when a fellow needed help to pay his rent. His choice. I'm no expert on gun qualities. This particular gun apparently sat for some time, slight surface rust on the barrel and the magazine well. I've stripped it down, examined, cleaned, oiled and, shot a magazine full through it. Seems okay to me. My other 9mm is a G26. Both are similar in design. Would this be worth hanging onto? My DIL hints she has a birthday coming up so, I think she will have her first gun soon. What say you, People Of INGO?

I think that's the economical version of the K9, which I used to own. Good guns, but on the heavy side. My K9 was very reliable and shot well. It'd be a great gift if she's into guns.

I have one that is my practice 9mm, for my Kahr P9 EDC. I shoot steel case, reloads, and bulk pack ammo through it. Blew out the magazine floor plate once, when I accidentally shot a +P+ subgun round. It blew out the side of the case. Stripped it, inspected it, put it back together and loaded another mag. Functioned and fired fine. Have put many hundreds of rounds through it since. I'd vote to keep it.

The steel-framed Kahrs are generally considered to be their best pistols.

Sounds to me like you've got a keeper, OP.
