Recently purchased an XD 9 tactical, still waiting on my permit. :wtf:
How do the LEO's feel if your transporting your gun to the range for practice but all you have is your application and receipt? Trying to keep it legal here folks
Welcome to the forum Roger. When I was in your situation I just kept my Glock in the trunk and didn't drive like an idiot. Worked for me. I'm sure someone will chime in with the exact laws
As far as I know it is legal to transport your handgun as long as the ammunition is in a different place. Gun in trunk, ammo in back seat. I never had a problem before I had my permit doing that.
