    Sure, forcible felony, just can't shoot them unless they present a threat.

    What defines a forcible felony? I always assumed that was violent behavior towards someone, not theft, but I am not sure

    OK, so then how does this work out when the corpse declines to contradict the homeowner's story, "I shot him when he tried to hit me with my television set he was stealing"?

    I just like to point out the "if this happened in indiana, you could get in trouble for doing that". These stories get us all excited and could lead to some pain later if repeated in our great state.

    He was a polite Latino. So, no, you can't shoot him.

    However, if it was one of our indigenous local warriors? I wouldn't necessarily give him the benefit of the doubt. Too much risk you'll end up with the obituary.
