If I would have known retirement was this much fun I would have done it first! But then I wouldn't have any toys to play with. Just bought a Marlin 1893 in 38-55. Ordered the dies today

Hey fullmetaljesus I didn't start here. Lived in Allen County most of my life until I realized if I was ever to retire I couldn't afford the taxes. Found a beautiful 12 acres with apond, house and barn and never looked back

Moving out of Allen County for a nice plot of land sounds like something I am currently working towards. Welcome back new old guy.

It just got to be too much for me. The politics, the traffic, the attitude of "we want to be like Indianapolis" Not for me. I like my peace and quiet and a place to hunt, fish and shoot just out my back door. I hope you can find it too.

Being old has plenty of advantages for me, been thru many hard times and survived. I worry less now than I ever have. I feel sorry for those whose joy in life is stolen by worry.
