    I see that John Mellencamp is doing free concerts for Obama and Clinton. He lost his man some time ago, before gun bans became an issue the Dems would talk about.

    With both Hillary and Barack on record as would be gun banners, where does that leave us with our "small town" guy, for supporting them?

    Johnny Cougar hasn't been a small town guy for a very long time. I still like some of his music but years

    I remember a lot of talk in the Democratic party four years ago speculating that heavy celebrity support of John Kerry hurt him a LOT more than it helped him, and I thought they were right.
    I thought they had figured it out, so this time, we wouldn't see much of it. But we are.
