I found a good deal on the Jard single stage non-adjustable AR trigger, factory set @ 4-5#. What are your thoughts & opinions? I'm building my first AR and have heard the stock triggers are pretty rough. I found the Jard for $50, but it says it uses the factory hammer & trigger pins. It seems like it normally goes for $150+.

Is it a good trigger? Is that a good price? Thanks!

A few details about my intended build may help. I am most likely looking at a PSA 16" lightweight hammer forged midlength upper. It's intended purpose is Appleseed style shooting on a budget. I'm not into highpower competition, three gun, benchrest, or dynamic shooting. I want a fairly accurate, highly reliable rifle.

Is the Jard a good trigger for my goals? Is there a better trigger under $100?

    Thanks again.
