does any one know how old a gun can be to shoot plus p ammo, strictly revolver as in s&w 357

You can shoot all the +P out of a 357 MAGNUM

+P 38 Special ammo does not even approach the pressures of the 357 Magnum.

So, if it is a 357 Magnum revolver, you should be GTG with +P 38 Special ammo.
