I am looking at buying a S&W M&P 15-22 PC. The only con I can think of is the price. I wonder if the extra $200 is worth it. I would use it for squirrel hunting mostly. Does anyone own one and how do you like it?

I don't know what they do to them, but......

    1) I think the trigger on the rifle is fine and produces good groups for me.
    2) If you want a better trigger, buy any standard AR trigger and drop it in yourself.

Only thing I have heard is that it uses a match chamber and that may limit what ammo you can use. My 15/22 MOE is plenty accurate and I don't think I would pay that much more for the updates on the performance center model.

First off. If you want squirrels a Marlin60 will do it all day everyday
the PC is not worth the money for what you get. You can get the standard model + mods and be better off

I wouldnt buy a PC for squirrels

Thanks for the feedback. I have an old Remington 511 that does the job on squirrels, but I'm getting older and shaky. I thought the grip on a tactical .22 might help with that. I think y'all are right about not spending the extra money. I think I will go with less money and add upgrades.
