IMO the Beretta PX4 is one of the most underrated guns available today. The Beretta PX4 is by far my favorite polymer framed pistol. It is very accurate, It is relatively lightweight, and I think the rotating barrel really does help reduce recoil. I have fired well over a 1000 rounds through my Px4 and have never experienced a malfunction of any kind. My PX4 is my current home defense pistol and I would have no problem betting my life on it.
I love my new PX4 as a primary HD pistol. It's as accurate as a Beretta 92fs I think.
One issue is that the finish peels off the slide easily if you have to put it in a vice, and since the slide isn't square, securing it in a vice is very challenging. So basically, installing night sights is a bear!
It is definitely under rated, and a great, accurate, ultra reliable gun. I don't like the painted on finish, but I don't mind a few blemishes. Whooos, I already posted on this thread LOL.
