I know it's a long process from payment and sending of forms to get approval, but I'm curious if any of that changes or is impacted negatively if you happen to move or change address between the time you apply and the time you get approved.

I'd love to own a suppressed SBR, two stamps, sometime. Not something I can really afford now, but hypothetically if I were to start the process today and then moved before I got approval, would that matter?

I'm not sure how it works during the process, but once approved notification is made to the atf of the move is the way I understand it. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in. I'm curious if it's just notification or resubmitting paperwork.

All you have to do is wait until it's assigned to an examiner and then call them and update your address if it's the same CLEO. It's not a big deal.

If it's a different state or CLEO you will have to cancel and reapply. You will also have to pay to transfer the can to a dealer in the new state if you moved states.
