Background: I'm looking to use as many pieces as I possibly can from my existing 16" AR-15 to legally piece together a .300 BLK AR-15 Pistol. I fully plan to own both complete rifles in the future, but as a college student, I am curious how cheaply I can have both NOW. Besides, I will value the experience of ripping them apart and swapping pieces in and out anyway.
What I have....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What I want minimalist "legal" route possible... (least amount of extra parts to make the conversion)
Additional parts I suspect I need...
Tools I suspect I will need
Am I leaving any tools or parts out??
Thanks for the input... I've built a lower before, but the upper I have was purchased assembled so I'm a little blurry on exactly what additional items I may need.
