    in your nightmares
    is it safe to use data that was developted for a rifle with a 1-12 twist in a rifle that has a 1-9 twist? I will be using 55gr. bullets. this data came from ramshot.
    thanks any reply would be greatly appreciated

    I load a 55 grain bullet with Ramshot Tac at 25.2 in a 1-8" twist 24" barrel ,I still am low at 3025 fps but faster isnt usualy the most accurate.

    the bullet is a montana gold 55gr fmj, the powder is ramshot tac. the starting load is 21.6 the max 25.7 it will be fired out of a bushmaster ar15 with a 1-9 twist rate

    You'll be fine with that. You'll find each additional 1 grain added will be approx 100fps faster. Its not that 'accurate' of a powder but makes fine cheaper blasting ammo,a touch dirty and smoky compared to IMR /Winchester powders.
