I took my PM9 to the range today to break it in. I put 232 rounds down range with 0 malfunctions. Compared to my Kel-Tec PF9.
1. The muzzle flip is very similar, but the felt recoil was much softer compared to the PF9.
2. The PM9 is more accurate.
3. Overall, the PM9 is a much better pistol.
One thing I also like about the PM9 is that you can get 7 round mags. Plus, the Pearce pinkie extensions are much better then the Kel-Tec brand extensions for the PF9.
I ran 100 rounds of Federal Champion 115 grain FMJ
100 rounds of my 115 grain FMJ reloads
7 rounds of Black Hills 124 grain JHP
25 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense 115 grain JHP
The Hornady performed very well and was accurate. I have another box set aside for carry. I'm very happy with the pistol. If you are in the market for a pocket pistol, I highly recommend a Kahr.
