I've been looking for an aftermarket stock for my new Ruger 10/22 to start the endless customization that will inevitably ensue. I came across the Hogue overmolded stocks and think that I want to get one. I had a few things though I was hoping I might get some feedback on.
I'm stuck between the Ghillie Green and Ghillie Tan colors. I've tried finding pictures with the standard carbine barreled action in them to compare how they look, maybe someone here has a set they wouldn't mind showing?
The other thing, barrel channel. I eventually want to get a suppressor and would probably end up getting a .920 threaded barrel for it, but not sure if there is anything odd about having the .920 stock on a factory barrel in the meantime.
Any thoughts?
If anyone else has any suggestions on a different stock I am always up for input.
