So I bought a magazine for a Ruger P345 at the Redbrush GC auction this week. Don't have one but the mag was $2. They run $27-$30 on line so I figured I could list it cheap for $15-$20 and make a profit.

But now I'm thinking: I have a mag, I have .45 acp ammo, that's two thirds of the equation. It would be easier to just get a pistol! I have never been a big Ruger fan. I know they are reliable, built like tanks, etc., but the double stacks never did it for me. However this single stack .45 may be my Ruger breakthrough. What say you all who have played with these. Should I sell the mag or buy the pistol?

Looked one today. Had a real good feel to it, looks good too. Ambidextrous de-cocker, not an ambidextrous mag release, don't understand that.

Mine has been my EDC for over 7 years now, and the only time it doesn't leave the house with me, is when I carry my 1911. I probably have 4 or 5 thousand rounds through it, with no problems.

My daughter gave me a Ruger P90 .45 for fathers day several yrs back, got one for herself also! While not the exact model you referred to, it's a single stack Ruger- a bit bulky, but a great designated nightstand gun. Both pistols have performed 100% since the first mag., and seem as accurate as the shooter is capable of. What else is there?
