Oh, and in case you havent figured it out, NEVER buy a Ryobi bare tool. ALWAYS get the battery/charger kit. You can get the battery/charger for like $30 more, when the bare battery itself is retailing for $100 or more.

If anyone is looking for some Ryobi batteries you might want to try these instead:

They're off-brand, but they're 6ah instead of the Home Depot 2ah and they work just fine. Been using a pair of these all year with no issues.

I have used off brand batteries from Amazon for my DeWalt tools and they have all sucked. Glad you are having luck with them.

Thanks for the heads up. Fortunately (or not) I have so many Ryobi tools that I'm flush with batteries and chargers.
