S&W Response Safety Recall

Couldn't find this posted anywhere. Just a heads up for anyone else who owns a Response. There's a safety recall for any rifle manufactured before 02/12/2024 due to possible out of battery discharges (If you watch mrgunsngear's review of it, it's what happened to his T&E rifle.). My bad. I searched specifically for Response threads. I've only been on here for 7+ years, and hadn't seen that thread.

I struggled with whether I should start a new thread, search for S&W Response (not a particularly unique word to search here on) and post there in addition to posting in the recall thread. I ended up just posting in the recall thread and then didn't take the time to do the rest as I was in a hurry at the time.

For visibility I think it makes sense to have it in the recall thread but also elsewhere to draw attention.

I was just pointing out the aggregate thread. I post there and then a separate thread for any recalls I see. Safety recalls are important.
