Saiga 7.62 conversion!!

I am, at least for the moment, finished. I started with a Black Friday deal Saiga 7.62 from Bradis and have been very slowly acquiring parts. I will eventually thread the barrel for a muzzle break, but I'm not there yet.

First, as she was purchased... Doubt you'll see the purchase price for a while, so I wont depress you with it.

Here she is after the grind to accept AK mags. Just a test fit, won't feed due to no bullet guide.

Here she is after the FCG is moved to the correct location, but still just a test fit.

Another to show preparedness for upcoming zombie apocalypse...

Here she is with bullet guide installed, in full Timbersmith dress 100% 922r compliant and ready to rock...

Great job! I really like how your furniture turned out. Here's a link to the coversion that I recently did, you may find the barrel threading video helpful... at least I hope so. If you have any questions about cutting your shroud and threading the barrel, I'm sure someone on here will help you out.

Nice work on the Saiga. I did mine earlier this spring and have been very happy with it.
