If your anywhere near Kokomo, Brians Surplus has it for 28 a pound. I picked up a couple pounds to give it a try.Powder valley has it in-stock for $25 a pound, I'm giving $40 a pound for what I'm using....if this works as well as there tactical rifle powder, I'll be thrilled
I just refuse to pay that extra 20.00 a pound for that powder.Been working my way through a jar of Precision Rifle for the last couple years as a Varget replacement. Less powerful on average but has worked great in .303, 6.5 Carcano, 8mm, .308, 30-06, etc. Nothing wrong with Shooters World except a paucity of load data for odd calibers. But, you can always find it on a burn chart and compare it to similar powders to take a guess at a safe start point.
I have not shot it myself, but do shoot with the state Jr high-power champion, and she uses it. Shots a lot of clean stages...I did some looky looing around the forum and didn't find much. If there is a thread on this powder I beg a thousand pardons. Has anyone had any experience with this powder?
I know to whom your referring and she is a top shot!! She is well known at our club....and about everywhere around hereI have not shot it myself, but do shoot with the state Jr high-power champion, and she uses it. Shots a lot of clean stages...
