My dad just bought a NOS S&W Airweight 4" .38 Special MOD 12-2 the other day. From comparing other serial numbers from other years of the 12-2's Im thinking it's somwhere around mid to late 60's make year. Could anybody give me a helping hand on ballpark year by serial number? Cause I may be way off. I know that they where made in sequence so I thought the 36 could go a ways back but didnt know for sure how they were released. You know how some are made one year but not sold for a few or more years.3D363xxx
