    This is the 3rd or 4th Hogue slip-on grip that I've put on and the 2nd time that I've used KY lube and had the grip on in less than 2-3 minutes. Got the grip hot in boiling water, lubed the inside of the grip and started it with two small flat bladed screwdrivers and it went so easy.

    Just thought it might be a little helpful for those that struggle with installing those grips.

    instead of ky jelly you can use contact solution. I actually did the same thing to my shield. Works for motorcycle/bicycle grips too.

    For motorcycle grips - if they have a little hole in the end(or you make a little hole in the end) you can stick an air compressor nozzle in there and put them on or take them off in seconds.
    There is a little technique to it but you will learn it faster than I could type it.
