Well, I did go to Midwest, and settled on a Taurus 82 (.38 special) for $180. So much for .22 LR. Looks like hell, but after a thorough cleaning, it ain't too shabby. Now I just need a nice set of wooden grips to replace the worn rubber ones it came with....
