I searched, but not much talk about the new Vortex Defender. Anybody have any experience with them yet?

Battery life isn’t as good as some, but you should still be good to go changing once a year.

I've got them in stock, but to be honest, I haven't even had a chance to open a box much less use one to give my opinion. They have only been out for a week (ish) so I dount you find many real reviews.

I wasn’t expecting a Sunday delivery… I’m running errands this afternoon, but hopefully I can swing by the range.

Initial thoughts, the dot is more crisp than my Holosun 508t. Not sure it’s a fair comparison though since the Holosun is green and my eyes seem to prefer red dots.

I have a Swampfox Sentinel on my Shield Plus, which is a green dot. I like it, but it's nothing fantastic. The best thing about it is the fact that I got it on sale for $85.
