What am I looking at?

Friend of mine got this canvas bag and asked me if this was for some sort of firearm. I’m not really sure. It reminded me of those old m1 carbine bags but it’s not quite the same. There’s no markings. It’s a double layer canvas, with tin button, and drawstring.


Any help would be appreciated.

That was my first thought, specifically for a Burgess folding shotgun. But it's not.
