What is a G2 Contender carbine in 209x45 worth

I was looking at a G2 contender carbine today and was wanting advise on it value. The g2 shows some wear in the blueing and some scratches in the wood but over all good condition. I did notice some rust starting to form in the barrel so I know it need a good cleaning and oiled. They were asking $600 for it is this a good price? I felt they were a little high. Thank you
