I have been in two LGS stores in my area (Ohio) in the last two
days. Both had very low in stock positions.
A Bersa Thunder 380 (Duotone) is now $309. These were $249
a short time ago.
A Kel Tec P32, blue finish, was $269. They were $239 a short time
ago.
Ammo stocks in just about all pistol calibers, (except 9mm) were very low, including 22LR ammo!
They are going to do it to us again, just like they did on the ammo.
I understand supply and demand, but................

Its almost certain that he'll beat whatever idiot ends up on the "R" side of the ballot. If you want ammo in the next 2-3 years it might make sense to stock up.

If he gets reelected (or appoints himself king), I would not be surprised to find new weapon bans, capacity bans, ammo bans, or more likely, extremely high new taxes levied on all firearm related products. Then we can't say he banned firearms, but he can make them unaffordable to the masses. But to answer your questions, as others have said, nervous gun owners (like me) are stocking up and this "demand" is what's driving up prices.
