What's it worth??

I have a friend that has a Colt Commando .38 Special 4 inch barrel, parkerized finish, with the correct plastic grips his father gave him and he wants to sell it.Just trying to see what the gun would be worth since I am thinking about buying it.It has very little wear on it.

if its around early 1940's. they go inbetween 8-1500. hope this helps

There's probably a website that shows serial # ranges for a rough guess. You can always contact Colt with the info and they will tell you exactly!

I did a little research and it looks like they were made in 1942-1943,at least that's what the website said that I looked on.

Going to check out the Commando tonight and see for myself what condition it's in.Hopefully we can make a deal on it if it's nice.
