Older Ruger Blackhawk....I'm excited to shoot 9mm out of it. Any good/bad feedback?

I had a newer production Blackhawk Convertible in 45LC/45acp. It was the worst gun I’ve ever owned. It was wildly inaccurate. It didn’t matter if it was factory ammo or hand loads. You were better off throwing it at someone than shooting at them.

I stopped into Grand Lake Guns in Celina, OH while driving home from Columbus yesterday afternoon when I spied this well used but not abused K22. Timing and lock up is good and the gun shows a good bit of finish wear on the barrel. The gun dates to 1948. The grips are period correct but are nor numbered to the gun.

I paid for it and arranged for shipping to my FFL yesterday afternoon and UPS delivered the gun to my local shop, Judge and Jury Firearms, less than 22 hours later.

Not quite what I had in mind for conceal carry. What I do carry 95% of the time is the S&W 37, I have Springfield 911 but I tend to grab the 37. Just feels right.

How do you carry the Smith?

I usually just carry it in my right front pants pocket. I'm looking for a pancake holster for it, been looking at the Wright Leather Works holsters.
