Buddy got his first mink in a leghold.
Said it was like a tablesaw blade going full out LOL

    Switched to Conibears after that.

Watched one 2 yrs ago from my deer stand, in and out of the creek, running to some fallen log 15 yards from creek.
Back and forth, back and forth. Entertaining. At least 20 mins of such.

Had a stand by a creek on buds farm and had one peek out of a hole right under me.

Have seen em tearing into muskrat mounds. Even heard one grunting and growling while doing so.... he was on a mission.

My old furbuyer said he used muskrat for mink bait.

Actually saw one smashed on the road a couple weeks ago. Bummer.

Saw a river otter mashed on the road out in Iowa a couple weeks ago. That was a first for me.
