Anyone ever handled one of these and shot one. Was looking at one and not a lot of info out there. Apparently only 25 made.

A WASR with dimples makes me do a bigger double take than one with a PPSh-41 handguard.

If you want a Wasr with dimples you should get a Sar1.

I missed this thread the first time around, but the really short gas system in the photo caught my attention so I googled it. The only info I came across was the same GunBroker auction where the photo came from. I would guess that there is probably a good reason why they only made 25 of them. The asking price in the auction was extremely high, well above what an AK would sell for, so basically a high priced novelty item.

I'm familiar with them. Just saying that the thread title mentions "WASR" and then we see a gun with a dimpled receiver.
