    So Indiana
Saw these on line and I simply cant figure out how its safe. I did not in a reasonable search find any manufactures web site, only retailers who dont say much on not using them in old weak shotguns Did say break open single shot but they run the whole spectrum of strength also. While the bolt thrust on 223 isnt to out of line for a scatter gun. But man! If anyone has a better understanding of how these are safe please feel free to share it with me Thanks much

Average breach pressure for a 223/308 equals 50-60k. Average 12 gauge is somewhere near 11k plus. There is no way I'd put one of these next to my face.

Remember the caliber inserts for the 12 gauge flare guns? Yeah, .357 mag through a plastic flare gun. Those were real safe.

Just because it fits doesn't mean it's safe to fire. I wouldn't trust them.
