I used a Uncle Mikes paddle when I have my Xd .40, and it worked very well. Before I found a good holster for my FNP. I tried a Fobus, and it was a POS, I'll never buy another one. I spent the money and bought a Blade Tech shooters pack for my FNP. I got a sting ray bely holster, paddle attachment, and a double mag pouch. Is is a very well made holster and works great. I highly recommend them. Desantis also makes some good holsters.

If I'm wearing a sweat shirt or have my t-shiry untucked I go with my Don Hume IWB. If I'm tucking in a shirt, then it's the crossbreed supertuck deluxe (XD subcompact). If I'm sporting a pair of khaki pants then it's the desanti nemesis pocket holster for the LCR.

OWB - I have several I really like

    1) El Paso Saddlery Dual Duty (Three Slot)

    2) Tucker Gun Leather HF1

    3) Garrett Industries Silent Thunder STX (this is a Kydex leather
holster, very thin and the leather lining helps to protect your
    guns finish)

I use a leather High Noon Split Decision to CC my G26 and my Taurus 709 Slim. I also have a Blackhawk Serpa CQC for OWB/OC use for the G26. All three work great for me.

I used the Galco Summer Comfort IWB for a year for my G26, but it never really worked for me. I finally sold it to my son, who likes that brand.

I also purchased a Kholster Holster for the G26. I found it extremely comfortable, and effective. But it requires that I contort myself in amazing ways to get the thing mounted on my pants. The High Noon is just as comfortable and far easier to mount.

Thanks for all the replies so far and I agree with Kirk if you are looking for a holster, get a box because I have a box of holsters that I purchased that just didn't work out for me.
Even though the FOBUS may be considered 'cheap' because it cost $25, for me it is a great holster.
