All those wishing to see protesters handled roughly, the DNC convention will be the place that they won't tolerate any disorder.

They'll find in short order that opposing big money interests are going to be the last thing they ever do. Legitimately wouldn't be surprised to see lethal force used with a media blackout on coverage.

I'll bet lunch its a useless liberal arts class.

Edit: IF they had been fair, they would have given the students the grade they had at the start of finals. Sure there may have been a few struggling that were counting on a good showing on the final to bump them up, but fairness would have been just recording the grade at the time and moving on.

When she said she was there for daughters graduation, the loud mouth should have said " your for the people 24-7 FIRST" then continued to rant the same stuff. As interesting as it would be to see a 1968 style dem convention I don't see it coming. Most will stay away because big lefty money will pay them to stay away. The small numbers that still show up will be controlled by discreet private security also paid for by big lefty money to spare the lefty mayor from using the CPD.

It will be another example of how the political process will be reduced to an illusion by money and power on the road to 1984.

As a paying student, I would be entitled to the full course which includes the final. You can cancel it if you wish, but I want and demand the grade I could possibly achieve on the test. I’ve paid for it.

By whom? I can't imagine any S***cago area LEO wanting to use lethal or even non-lethal force to protect the DNC convention. The leadership may want to, but if you are in the rank and file I just can't see it. No upside for the individual or the department, only downsides. For the individual officers anything that made the news would result in their persecution and prosecution with little doubt.

They'll show up, but do the absolute minimum they can get by with. When the LEO presence is "overwhelmed", and the protesters get to the Commie National Convention delegates; OH Well, we tried...

ETA: @DoggyDaddy is sadly more likely to be correct than I. Having the paid instigators to fake Trump support would be a win / win. You can get more of CPD to intervene for real, and you get the optics of "MAGA supporters" disrupting the DNC for the cameras.
