Trap league is starting up --At 71 - to try to stay in the game - I am switching from my standard 12 gauge 1 1/8 ounce, 7 1/2 shot loads to 7/8 ounce 8 1/2 shot. --7/8 ounce of 8 1/2 has 435 BBs versus my old 1 1/8 - 7 1/2s with 394 BBs--25% less recoil-- less cost -- has worked great at the 16 yard line.

I watched zoom auctions Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Loaded 1,000 38spl, 357-120 LRN, 2.7 gr HP-38, Wolf SPM primers on my Lee O frame. Didn't see anything on the auctions I wanted.

Going full bore down the 8.6blk rabbit hole.
I am working up both sub and super sonic loads for my 12" ar and my 16" Rem 700.
I have gotten the modification of Hornady 6.5 creedmoor brass to 8.6blk down now so am working on starting loads with various powders, 1680, cfeblk, h110, tac, the possibilities are going to be fun to work out.
Already I have found that 32.0 gr of 1680 with a 225gr CX bullet is too much (blown primers and stuck bolt), but 28 gr gives me 1960fps and sub moa groups.
It's an ongoing process, but it is fun, especially because I'm winging it without a whole lot of info on the internet.
