I love the smell of Hoppes.
Now if they could only bottle that fragrance and then......................wait

ya it could've been MUCH worse!
It coulda been my wife spilling perfume or something.
Hoppe's is one of those nostalgic smells...
it takes people back to another time and place...
be it their grandpa's gun cabinet or cleanin guns with dad.

I'd say the only inconvenience with me spilling the bottle last night
was now I have to go and buy another bottle.
but Hoppe's has always been priced reasonably low so
I guess I got a cheap dose of lesson learned
with the bonus of a great smelling room...
