Well...OBVIOUSLY the voters are sending a signal they're tired of the non-functioning partisan atmosphere in D.C., and want their elected officials to sit down with Obama and get things working again.

    Snicker. Heh heh.

Great, so he'll run as an independent and give the seat to the Dem. glad he's out for now though

edit: didn't realize VA blocks people from doing exactly that. #statesrights

Don't you Democrats (and you know you're here) wish YOU had a functioning mechanism for changing your party?

What it shows is how relevant the Tea Party has become! If you follow politics, you know that Brat was the Tea Party candidate. Cantor, once a Tea Party darling, dared to stray from the Conservative principals that made him popular and, for doing so, HE IS NOW GONE. This is a wonderful victory for those who are true Republicans. If you don't know Brat, you will like him. He should easily win election in November. No, Cantor will not run as an Independent.

This is a win for everyone who champions the values that built this country.

It's about time that 'Average Joe' Americans realize who actually runs this country. And it's NOT 'big money politicians', from any party.

In the near future it'd be a very good idea to push hard for term limits for every elected office, Local, State, or Federal.
