    I said I was going to do it and here it is. After some hours tinkering in the workshop with my son, this is what I ended up with. I decided to use a firecracker instead of powder and BB's for projectiles because that's what I had readily available. Didn't spend anything but time.

    Here's the solid steel roller I started with. It's a roller from an old copier.

    Thanks everybody! :ingo: You should have seen the expression on my son's face when I told him we were going to build a cannon. :scratch: By the way, sorry for the background noise in the video. My shop AC unit is kinda loud. The tape on the target is covering our first shot. We were trying to see how consistent it would be.

    I am very impressed! The noise in the background makes it sound like a reel to reel movie from the 50's...I like it! When you show it to neighbors say "Oh, this is just the 1:10 scale prototype. Just wait until I get the real one built."
