Next up in my spring knife clean out is a Camillus USN MK 1, 5" Inch Fixed Blade w/ Sheath
I'm pretty sure the sheath is not original but I'm not expert enough to say yes or no. The knife itself is a user, not a show-piece, the leather washer handle is loose, but usable. As a "user" hunting/skinning knife, it's got a ton of life left. It probably has little to no collector value.
I've researched the prices on these knives and they're all over the place (as low as $40, as high as $425). INGO rules require me to list a price so for the sake of argument, my asking price is eleventy-billion dollars. However, I'm not firm on my price and if you feel like talking me down a billion dollars or so, I'll probably take your offer. I'm pretty sure this knife was combat-used to kill all kinds of German, Italian, and Japanese soldiers, as well as puncture the tires on Hitler's getaway car. *
