I had a blast. This is a very fun game. Done better than I thought I would esp. on the longer shots. I thought I would do very well on the plate rack because I usually do. Shooting the rack with a .22 makes it tough to see and hear what is actually being hit. I will suggest next time that it be closely watched with the .22 shooters because I know for sure that I was hitting the plate and not getting scored. If was a tough day to even hear the beep right next to you (alot of the guys couldn't) let alone if the plates was being hit with the little .22. Next time will be the Revolver with .38 it will not be a problem and I will have alot more fun because I love shooting my revolver.

Lots of great people and a great match equals a great day. Thanks Steve for getting this thing put on. I am hooked. Jim

I'll help load your mags but I draw the line at holding your gun:)

hope you get healed up quick

    Well, not too quick ;)

It was a pretty good turnout. And, I think Dave is right, it'll make you focus on the basics.

I had 3 mags with issues that cost me some points but I was pleased with my shooting.

But yes, it's a humbling game.

This game is great! It was a long drive but worth it. The wind was kicking today and we had a few stage equipment malfunctions but Steve had them back up in no time. The movers got me and I was shooting high on the practical stage. I would definately shoot this match again. I wonder why other clubs don't run this?

I met BillD and Rhino today. Rhino tried to pass himself off as Scutter but I wasn't biting!

Thanks for setting up this match with short notice.

Sorry I missed it, yes it is an accuracy game where speed cannot make up c and d hits like uspsa

Glad that there was a good turn out, maybe they can get some more schedule that others can make

You have to have the equipment for the stages

Thanks for everyone who joined us and had a good time! Thanks to Bill D, Paul (not here, I think), and the especially illustrious Steve Snyder for making the match happen. Thanks for all of the being patient while we dealt with some challenges!

My score for the day wasn't too bad for me (1427). By the time Bill and I got to the mover (last two shooters), it posed some interesting challenges with some unusual and unpredicatble motion added to its normal movement across the range. My score suffered, but it was actually more fun trying to hit it as it bounced!

If this was your first match and you score over 1000, you did really well. If you scored over 1300, you did really, really well. If you scored over 1500, you are exceptional (and you kicked my a**)!

I hope to see you all join us again next year for the regularly scheduled matches. I know that if they can reasonable expect a decent number of shooters each time, it might be possible to have more dedicated range help to make the match proceed more smoothely. I'll do what I can as an outsider to minimize conflicts with other matches, but there are limits to what is possible with the Wildcat schedule.

So who were all of the INGO members there? N9ZND and Freeborn Man introduced themselves to me, but I don't know if any of the others I met were ingo people.
